The home is located in The Palm Club, a unique waterfront co-op with 100 villa style homes in Lauderdale by the Sea. Palm Club features a marina available for boaters in the community at no extra charge. It also has a beachfront clubhouse and pool located on the east side of A1A. It is a 55+ age restricted co-op.
The buyers are a couple from the upper midwest that have been visiting the area for decades. They will use it as a vacation home. They first started searching for properties on my website two years ago. In January of 2019 they began viewing homes but none of the available units suited them at the time. Then unit 42 came on the market in late December 2019 and they decided to make an offer. It was originally priced at $650,000. After a few days of negotiating we settled on a price that suited both the buyer and the seller. This unit is nicely updated. It is on the water with it's own dock and came furnished.
