Not Everyone Is Moving To N. Carolina
Florida Realtor magazine this month is reporting that according to University of Florida reseach the States population grew by 331,000 people between 2006 and 2007. That equals about 900 people a day. While that is below the rate of 1,100 per day seen a few years ago it contradicts reports of a mass exodus to states like the Carolinas and Georgia.
Despite our current market downturn you just can't fight trends like that. This market will turn around eventually, because these people will need a place to live. According to the research most of these people are moving to Orange, Miami-Dade and Hillsborough counties. The counties that are growing at the greatest rates are Flagler, Sumter and Osceola counties.
