Here are some interesting statistics from the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale. For the month of Sept. 2007 compared to Sept 2006.

Available inventory for for Single Family Homes up 16%

Available inventory for Condos-Townhouses up 26%

Average sale price for Single Family home down 6%

Average sale price for Condo-Townhouses down 9%

Medain sales price for Single Family Homes down 2%

Median sales price for Condo-Townhouses down 13%

These stats kind of speak for themselves.  I was thinking they would be worse, especially in the condo market.
