There is no question today's real estate market is a challenge. Pre-foreclosure, Foreclosures, Short Sales, REOs. It is a maze of potential pit-falls.  Close to half the closed sales this year have been distressed properties in some form. For the last several years I have made an effort to get educated on how to navigate these treachorous waters. Whether you are buyer or selling I have the training and experience guide you safely.

On a positive note, South Florida real estate has never been more affordable. If you purchase a distressed property the savings can be even greater.  You will want an agent that is experienced with the challenges these properties can present. In 2009 I had 51 closed transactions, most of them were distressed properties.  So far in 2010 the pace has been even greater.
